Design A Beautiful Stress Free North Georgia Wedding

I know, you are doubting that a stress-free wedding is even possible.  Stress-free might be over-promising – let’s just say “low stress” or “lower than your cousin’s crazy wedding stress”. Our all-inclusive wedding venue was designed to help you enjoy a beautiful, stress-free wedding.  But, our tips will work for you no matter what type of wedding or venue you choose!

We’ve got our top 5 tips to help you enjoy a low stress North Georgia wedding!

1. Decide what is most important

When you start planning your wedding, there are so many details to consider.  Which venue will you choose?  What type of menu do you want? What colors will you choose? Which wedding dress is right for you?  Which venue should you choose?  Do you want an all-inclusive wedding venue?

And the list keeps growing.  If you try to prioritize everything, you will become quickly worn out.

Choose your top 2 – 3 items that are most important.  Maybe it’s the cake or the flowers.  It might be having a larger wedding with all the guests.

By choosing 2 – 3 most important items, it will help drive your decisions and help you say “no” to some other items.

2. Trust your vendors (with or without an all-inclusive wedding venue)

You’ve done your research and taken recommendations to find your vendors.  After you have hired your vendors, trust your judgment and theirs.

If you chose your florist because you love their style, you clicked during your consultation and their proposal works with your budget – then don’t second guess yourself.

As you get closer to wedding day, the stress can start to kick in and you might start questioning your decisions.  Trust that you made the right decision and let your North Georgia wedding venue and vendors do their thing.

This is extra true for an all-inclusive wedding venue. We have carefully chosen the vendors we partner with and their goal is to create a beautiful wedding day for you!

3. Ask family and friends to help

You don’t have to do it all on your own.  Stop and think of 2 – 3 family members or friends that you know would be willing to help.  You can probably come up with some names pretty quickly.

Ask them to help! (They may have already told you they would love to help – you just have to ask).  I get it, asking for help can sometimes be hard.  They really will love to contribute.  Think of a specific task for them and ask them to take care of it. It can be simple things like bringing décor to the North Georgia venue or taking it home after the wedding, bringing water or snacks for the bridal suite or getting cards and gifts to you after your honeymoon.  These small things can take a lot of stress off your plate.

4. Take a Break

The hardest thing to do during wedding planning can be to take a break.  Every time you are with your fiancé you can probably think of at least 10 things to discuss, ask or update them about the wedding planning.

Make sure you take some time to step away from the planning and just enjoy being engaged!  Go on a date and don’t talk about the wedding (maybe at least until dessert).

One of the main goals at our all-inclusive wedding venue is to ensure you have time for date nights while planning your wedding!  It’s so important to stay connected and have fun.

5. Don’t worry about the little things

Spoiler alert, something is going to not go to plan.  It’s usually something small, and you might not even know.

Try not to stress about every detail being perfect.

Napkins came in the wrong color?  Your guest won’t know what shade of pink they were supposed to be.

Caterers brought an incorrect appetizer?  The guests will never know and still enjoy the food.

Do your best to stay in the moment, focus on marrying your best friend and enjoy the day!
