Pleasant Union Farm offers a natural barn wedding venue surrounded by gardens, farm views and outstanding indoor and outdoor wedding options.  Modern glass doors connect the indoor venue space to the large covered porch – perfect for cocktail hour and dancing under string lights.  The outdoor ceremony spaces are surrounded by gardens and farm views.  And our all-inclusive wedding packages make wedding planning a breeze!

Decide where to stay

Accommodations are available in many locations.  Canton offers several hotels with easy access to the highway.  Hotels are an easy option for your guests to book, great for shuttles to service and close to restaurants and shops.

Ellijay, Jasper and Talking Rock all offer cabin options.  These are great for families and friends that want to extend their stay.  Options are available with mountain views, riverside locations and more.

Airbnb offers other options in the area ranging from guest houses to full houses to rent.

Explore North Georgia activities

Pleasant Union Farm makes a great destination wedding spot.  North Georgia is filled with activities to extend your stay.

Spend time hiking nearby trails at Amicalola Falls or other local parks.

Visit many of the small breweries found in Jasper, Ball Ground, Ellijay and more.  Make sure you stop by Reformation Brewery at The Mill on Etowah near downtown Canton.  While you are there, check out any of the delicious and local restaurants. Queenies in downtown Canton is one of our favorites!

You can find many local wineries in Ball Ground, Jasper and Ellijay.

Enjoy Seasonal Activities

Fall is one of the favorite seasons to visit North Georgia.  There are many apple orchards located in Ellijay and Blue Ridge.  Pick some apples, enjoy a fried pie or apple slushie.

There are also several pumpkin patches to visit.  Yahoo Farm is right down the road from us and a favorite to visit throughout the Fall.

Summer offers lots of opportunities for local farms and fairs.  You can pick blueberries right at Pleasant Union Farm during June and July.

Mercier Orchard offers lots of u-pick and tractor tour options with fruits like peaches, blackberries and strawberries throughout the Summer.

Winter is a great chance to cut your own Christmas tree, go ice skating at The Mill on Etowah or visit many locations featuring Christmas Lights.

Spring is a great time to visit Gibbs Gardens in Ball Ground and see their thousands of daffodils that bloom each year!

Any time of year you choose, North Georgia has plenty to offer for you and your guests on your wedding day!
