They were combining elements of a Jewish ceremony and Southern Baptist. Combining families and celebration elements can seem challenging, but bringing these together are what make your wedding and marriage uniquely yours!
We enjoyed meeting with them at planning meetings because even with the different ideas and opinions, almost every meeting ended in laughter. That laughter carried through to their wedding day.

Taylor and Christian chose a simple color palette and white and green. This allowed the texture of the succulents and air plants used in the floral arrangements to really shine.
A few simple elements can set the tone for your modern design. Consider darker colors for cloth napkins or floral color palettes.
Use geometric shapes in lanterns, candle holders or other decor.
Choose table number signs with a modern style or use modern seating chart elements.
Elevated Farm Wedding Design
A farm wedding venue doesn’t have to be hay bales and wagon wheels. (The only hay bales you will find at our farm are being chomped down by the goats)
You can elevate your wedding design to be classic and elegant with a few strategic choices.
Taylor and Christian chose to add gold chargers to their place settings. Chargers are a great, simple way to add layer and elegance to your guest tables. If possible, use real glassware and silverware. We love that Prestige (one of our feature package caterers) includes this.
Including individual escort cards at place settings is another way to elevate the design. Make sure these are separate and labeled by table so they are easy to set out on wedding day.

Pleasant Union Farm offers gorgeous North Georgia views. Guests can enjoy cocktail hour on the covered porch that overlooks the blueberry fields.
The ceremony lawn is surrounded by gardens and cut flower beds.
Rolling hills give views of the surrounding woodlands and your photographer can capture the best sunset photos for you.
Spring offers blooming trees and flowers dotted throughout the landscape. There are native dogwoods and azaleas across the property.
Fall makes the most of the surrounding woods as the leaves change throughout October and early November.

Visit with Farm Events
Farm events like blueberry u-pick in the summer allow couples to revisit their farm wedding venue and relive the memories.
Blueberry u-picks are hosted 2 – 3 evenings a week throughout Summer.
Farm Dinners are a great event to enjoy a seasonal menu featuring the freshest, local produce. This is great to enjoy as a couple or with a group of friends.
Date Nights are designed for couples to get away for an evening and enjoy the farm. Couples can enjoy appetizers, dessert and live music as they stroll the grounds.
